OEO6500 Platform is an industry-leading optical transport platform, which supports flexible configurations and provides a Transparent Optical Transport Solution based on DWDM technology (Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing) and CWDM (Coarse Wavelength Division Multiplexing) technology serving with flexibility and cost-efficiency in transporting, multiplexing, switching and protecting high-speed data, storage and video applications. OEO6500 Platform service flexibility in access, backhaul, metro and long-haul networks.
To minimize transport cost and optimize efficiency in all network areas, OEO6500 Platform built with extremely flexible and modular architecture, the capacity of OEO6500 Platform can be expanded without service interruption up to 80 channels at 2.5G and 10G.
OEO6500 platform provides several mechanisms and protection levels in the optical layer, such as 1:1/1+1 OLP(Optical Line Protection) and BP(Bypass), as well as various models of EDFA (Erbium Doped Fiber Amplifier) and Raman Optical Amplifiers which are able to extend terrestrial links distance up to 30km, 50km, 80km, 100km, 120km and over without intermediate regeneration.
