The product can form the dispersion in the molten iron, more graphite nucleation particles in high grade of grey cast castings in production, is advantageous to the formation of type A, D, E type graphite morphology, minimize or eliminate the presence of C type graphite morphology, is conducive to form more number of eutectic group; In high grades of ductile iron castings in production, can improve the level of spheroidization rate and spheroidizing, get small graphite morphology and the roundness of the graphite ball, prevent to appear the battery type of graphite, can reduce or eliminate the eutectic cementite in castings, at the same time could reduce the eutectoid transformation of casting temperature, the stability of austenite, increase the pearlite content after casting eutectoid transformation, in the correct use of raw materials and process under the premise of can be reduced or exempted from using Cu, Mo, Sn expensive metal raw material, can make the castings stably reach 85-95% of pearlite content, under the as-cast, make the casting meet the required comprehensive mechanical properties.
