Note 1: The software of the line and tributary boards of the Metro 500 is integrated in the NE software of the FSCC board. So it does not need independent board software.

In V100R004, the software of the ET1D board is independent. It is used with the NE software to support the access of data.

000011 Update in the OptiX Metro 500 NE Software (NE5.24.04.10P02)

NE5.24.04.10P02 supports the OptiX Metro 500 V100R004, the OptiX Metro 500 V100R002C02, the OptiX Metro 500 V100R002 and the OptiX Metro 200 V100R001. By presetting the type of equipment, you can select what functions are contained in this NE software. You can preset device-type to the OptiX Metro 500 or the OptiX Metro 200. On the basis of the previous versions, V100R002C02 adds CAU and transparent transmission of network management (NM) information (V5) through the serial port. The V100R003 adds the EFT board, and report of T1AIS alarms of the PM1 boards. The V100R004 supports System Self-test, 2M Pseudo Number test, improvement the Single Station Data Backup of Web Lct, Soft Tools of test Single Station, PS Alarm switching process and improvement of SNC protocol, the Form of return the Command Line is: basic ID + extended ID, supports inquire all of the Impedance of Tributary Card from Network, the Attribute of Single Byte DCC, supports Step-down Switching in SSM Mode and E3/T3 board.
