fire-resistant glass:
1) Single layer/monolithic Fire Resistant Glass
It is type-C fire resistant glass of the fire-resistant integrity, which is characterized with high glass strength, good fireproof integrity, good smoke proof and weather resistance and so on. Specially, it’s mainly used in the outer walls of buildings. In the room it can prevent fire from spreading outward and outdoor fire spreading inward. Thickness is 5mm, 6mm, 8mm, 10mm, and 12mm etc.
2) Complex fire resistant glass (Double/Multi-layers)
With the characteristics of heat-insulating type A fire resistant glass is highly transparent as well as fire-resistant and heat-insulating. Its thickness is 17mm(EI30), 22mm(EI60), 36mm(EI90), 42mm(EI120) and so on.
Thickness mm | Fire-resistant and heat-insulting limit (min) | Fire-resistant level | Weight (kg/m²) | elevating temperature from the fire surface and fire(°c) | Fire back surface max. average temperature(°c) | Sound insulation |
32 ±2.0 | 143 | Top grade (2hrs 23mins) | about 52 | 1113 | ≤ 129 | about 60 Decibel |
32 ±2.0 | 75 | Type A level I | about 52 | 1060 | ≤ 140 | about 60 Decibel |
25 ±1.5 | 57,79 | Type A level II(grade A) | about 45 | 1017 | ≤ 120 | about 55 Decibel |
23 ±1.3 | 54 | Type A level III(grade B) | about 40 | 1000 | ≤ 140 | about 45 Decibel |
18 ±1.3 | 48 | Type A level III(grade C) | about 35 | 939 | ≤ 100 | about 35 Decibel |
15 ±1.0 | 30 | Type A level IV | about 30 | 900 |
| about 35 Decibel |
Technical parameters
British Standard BS 476 fire resistant glass doors (EI series)
According to British Standard BS476 Part22: 1987 request to manufacture doorframes, door leaves, the glass on door, fire-resistant seals on the door, hardware spare parts achieve even more than the British Standard requests, besides, it has already passed several items of 1987 Inspection of British Standard BS476 Part22. All products conform to the safe requirements of Hong Kong fire services department and buildings department. It is also suitable to be used in all countries and regions which permit BS476 the Part22: 1987 standard regulation.
E integrity of fire-resistant:
Insulation of fire-resistant:
It satisfies both fire resistance and heat insulation. Heat insulation means when there is a fire, the maximal elevating temperature of back fire surface is 180 degree C and its average elevating temperature isn’t more than 140 degree C.
Technical parameters
