Gabion Mattress is made with the type of 60x80mm. The diameter of the wire is 2.2 mm. Gabion mattresses for the distribution and connection of the place meeting the appropriate fraction of stones. Gabion mattresses are box units where the plan area is large compared to its height. Each unit is subdivided into compartments normally to give cells 2mx1m in plan.

Gabion Mattresses are also used in conjunction with gabions as a scour protection to prevent undermining of gabion retaining structures in coastal or river applications and as a foundation.
