Centrifugal Fan
I. Usage
1.1 5-29 type centrifugal fan can be used as factories and large buildings, indoor ventilation, can be used to input, output air. The air can be fresh air or other non-spontaneous combustion gas, non-harmless to the human body gas, non-corrosive to steel gases. But viscous material is limited, dust and hard particles contained no greater than 150 mg/m3. Air temperature shall not exceed 80 ℃.
II. Specifications and structure features
2.1 Blower impeller diameter of decimeter number is the number of fan, expressed with Arabic numerals. The letters after the Arabic number symbolized the fan mode of transmission, transmission methods commonly used are:
“A” Symbolized directly transmission ( impeller installed on motor shaft directly);
“B” Symbolized belt transmission (Cantilever supporting strap wheel is amidst the bearings)
“C” Symbolized belt transmission (Cantilever supporting strap wheel is outside the bearings)
“D” Symbolized coupling transmission (Cantilever supporting shaft transmission)
“E” Symbolized double belt transmission (Double supporting strap transmission)
“F” Symbolized double coupling transmission (Double supporting shaft transmission)
The blower rotation direction can be clockwise or anticlockwise. This is based on from view envisage impeller.
2.3 The air outlet direction generally are 90 degree. This can be customized but you should point out in your purchase order. ( you may refer to following Figure)

For easy installation, testing, we can supply steel frame and vibration absorber.
2.4 This series of blower mainly composed of impeller and casing, air inlet flange circle, bearing, seat of bearing and other parts. The impeller contain curve type wheel cover, blade, straight wheel. All impeller should past the dynamic and static balance correction. Bearing adopts rolling bearing with calcium base grease lubrication.

3.3 The Technology parameters in the attach table is under a certain speed, the standard state environment, If the rotation speed, impeller diameter, air density or other environment are changed, the parameters should be changed according to the conversion formula as follows:

IV Installation, testing & running
4.1 Before the installation, we should check all the fan parts, the rotation of the impeller and casing direction are consistent, all connection is strong, after the impeller rotation there must be without scratches. Any previous problem we must do immediate adjustment.
4.2 When installation, there is not any tools or other things inside body. The connection for air in and out pipe should be sealed naturally, not forced sealing. Absolutely not allowed to keep the pipe weight on the blower, and the level of the blower main shaft is horizontal.
4.3 Blower of couplings or belt transmission, to check whether coupling or pulleys, belt installation and reliable. Two pulleys position is in the center of a line, the fan shaft and motor shaft concentricity conform to technical requirements (radial displacement of the 0.1 mm, gradient 0.8/1000).
4.4 After installation, can do test running, we should shut down the air inlet gate and full open the air outlet gate to make sure no load for blower (especially for boiler induced-draft blower or high temperature exhaust blower). We should closely monitor the electronic current, the current can not exceed the rated current. If it is good, then we can open the gate slowly to the state that we required.
4.5 When the blower under normal speed state, should check the bearing temperature is normal (usually should not be higher than 80 ℃) or not.
V. Maintenance
5.1 In order to avoid caused any breakdown or accident by improper use, prolong the blower service life, must strengthen the maintenance and overhaul of the blower always.
5.2 Fan inlet filter device should be installed before or dust catcher, if air inlet device, must add defend net, in order to prevent foreign body inhaled destroyed impeller.
5.3 Periodically remove the dust in the blower and air pipe.
5.4 Periodically change the grease lubrication.
5.5 Examine and repair the trouble according to following situations:
a) Strong vibration
1. Foundation rigidity not enough or strong enough.
2. Air inlet and the impeller scratches
3. The parts or bolt of foundation connection loosen.
4. Impeller riveting loosen or impeller deformation.
5. Air inlet or outlet installation is not good, cause resonance.
6. Blade fouling, wear, deformation of the impeller, shaft bending creates an unbalanced rotor.
7. Blower shaft pulley installation is not straight, the motor shaft and blower shaft not concentric.
b) Bearing temperature too high
1. Grease loose efficiency or mixed with dust, sand and other impurities.
2. Bearing seat, the connecting bolt too tight or too loose
3. Rolling bearing is broken.
c) Electronic current is too high
1. The density of the gas is too big, make motor overload.
2. Power grid voltage is too low or loose phase.
VI. Warning
6.1 Reliable Grounding connection after the installation.
6.2 Each time you start the blower should be tightly closed intake air gate, after turning normal then open the gate.
6.3 It is strictly prohibited foreign matter in the operation of the fan.
