Silvertip Badger is the hair that is picked only from the back of the badger. It is the softest of the hairs on the badger’s body. It gets its name from the characteristic light gray, or "silver" tips rising from the distinctive dark band on the hair. It is the highest grade of the badger hair.

High Mountain Badger is also called Manchurian badger. The badger hair comes from the badgers which live in the high land and mountain root in Northeast, northwest, southwest of China. The hair is stiffer than silvertip for its diameter is thicker than silvertip, but its softness is the same as super silvertip at the tip. The black ring is twice of the super silvertip badger, so it is also called double band by many people. The brushes made of Manchurian badger are firm at the base, yet incredibility soft at the tips

best badger hair is picked from the pars costalis of the badger. It is a middle grade badger. It is a little softer and a little more flexible than Pure. The color is also fairly dark depending on the mixture of grey hairs to brown hairs to black hairs, but generally the Best grade hairs start to become somewhat thinner than Pure grade therefore becoming a little more flexible and softer. It is also a best choice for its competitive price.

Black pure Badger is harvested from the majority of the pelt, including the neck, shoulder, abdomen and tail. We collect the black tip hair and pick out the other hairs like white and brown. It makes the pure badger black at the tip and white at the root, very fresh and lighting. It is cheap for the high output. It is favored by many people.

Gray Pure Badger is harvested from the majority of the pelt, including the neck, shoulder, abdomen and tail. After the black, white and brown pure badger are mixed fully by hand.
