HAUTY lighting specialized in tiffany stained glass lamps , and all the shades' material is stained glass, stained glass included many series, such as , single colour glass , multicolored glass, bubble glass , ice jade glass , watermark glass , fluorescece glass , aventurine glass, emulsion opal glass, falling petals glass, speckled glass , and so on .
each series has many different styles, usually , the thickness of the glass is about 3-5 MM. the biggest characteristic is: its colour will never fade ! and the shade 's color under different background light will present a different mysterious color ! so we can be proud to say that : Each piece of tiffany lamps is unique in the world. which is also as the saying : "There are no two identical leaves in the world" .
The simple sense of stained glass is different from general common glass , the reason is that , at the production beginning , adding gold, silver, and other various ingredients of expensive metal elements in glass solution, in order to make glass present a variety of different colors .
The whole arts and crafts is all handwork indeed , and the whole prodution need 15 days at least . after hand cutting, edge grinding, copper foil rolling, type setting , tin welding, cleaning and dyeblack, more than ten working procedure later . it finally present beautiful art pattern .
1, the real tiffany shade must be made of stained glass, the simplest judgment method is fire the position of the glass, glass cannot be burning-out, it will only leave a little trace, you can clean with dry cloth, and the plastic products will be melt .
2, because the tiffany shade is made by hundreds or thousands of small glass pieces , when we knock the surface of the shade with our fingers , it may lose the original sound like common glass, but, it doesn't mean that the tiffany lamp shade is not made of glass. and more glass pieces the shade has , more obvious this feature is.
3, the hardness of stained glass is better than plastic, therefore, ordinary knife cannot cut it off, only leave a few scratches . usually , we use the special diamond glass cutter to cut the glass when production .
What's the difference between HAUTY and others?
1. about material and welding technology ,
(1) all of our workers have more than five years working experiences in tiffany line at least . we especially specialized in high difficult artwork .
(2) in order to fight for more orders , some factories quote very low price to the new customers , then , they have to reduce the material standard and glass pieces to save the cost when production , and they don't care the quality of their products . however , HAUTY is not like this . the usig of tin welding is unrestricted for HAUTY's workers , it's very important for us to make sure the stability and durability of the shade.
(3) The cause of this reason is that , most of HAUTY's old customers are tiffany century-old shops, they have their own brand , and they are very very strict about the product quality . so our workers have already become accustomed to such a production mode in this past 15 years .
(4) " what price , what goods " . If you give us a big order and let us reduce the quality of the products according to your price . we have to say sorry to you , we can't accept it .
(2) In order to guarantee the stability of lamps, our base is more heavier than usual factory's .
(3) our products can pass the test of 8 -15 degrees Angle of tilt , The purpose is to let the lamp does not fall and damage under slight collision, only perfect match of the shade and the base can accomplish it .
3 . about production standard
take 16 inches (diameter 40cm )shade as an example ,
(1) the shade height of some other factories is about 18-19CM . however, which of HAUTY is about 21-23cm ,If the shade is too shallow, bulb leakage will be very ugly .
(2) the shade weight of some oher factories is about 2kg-2.3kg, however , which of HAUTY is about 2.6kg - 3kg , If the shade is too light, texture will be much more subdued .
(3) if you lift the shade with one hand only , other factory's round shade becomes oval easily , but HAUTY's shade is impossible to deformation eventhough you lift the shade with two fingers .
(4) usually , 16 inch shade's glass pieces of of other factory is about 200-400 pieces , however , which of HAUTY is about 400-800 pieces , and some items have about 1000-2000 pieces .
(5) the copper cover unpon the shade , which plays the important role to support the whole shade 's structure. many factorys just weld one piece copper cover , however , HAUTY 's product must be weld 2 pieces hard copper cover , so HAUTY's shade never deform in 100 years Unless it is suffered the strength of the strong external force .
How to clean and maintain tiffany lamps ?
About the clean
If the surface of the shade into the dust, you can wipe directly with wet cloth , please do not scrub with detergent.
About the maintenance
as a manual art products, tiffany lamp need regular maintenance, every two or three months later , due to moisture and dust pollution in the air, which make the lamp shade's surface loses luster, efflorescence. when it happens , you can wipe the surface with wet cloth , again with dry dishcloth touchs a few white mineral oil, wipe the surface again , then , your lamps will restore the original luster and color immediately
About the smell
Recently , some customers reflect that it's odorant when opening the carton with shade , please don't worry , that's because the surface of the shade is coated with a layer of protective oil before delivery , just place it naturally, two days later, the smell will disappear.the composition is white mineral oil, which is harmless to the human body.
Which light source should match with ?
Incandescent bulb , energy-saving bulb , LED bulb , all is available .
Tiffany belongs to the decorative lamps ,and incandescent bulb is the best friend of its , incandescent bulb 's color temperature is low, soft light, warmth, but incandescent lamp glows, large power, and short life . LED bulb has the advantage that energy saving , electricity saving , and is durable. but light effect is inferior to incandescent bulbs.
So if mainly used for the decoration, we suggest using incandescent bulbs, however , if it is a mainly lighting, we suggest that LED bulbs.
please note that , all of HAUTY's lamps is not with bulbs except small night light .
