What it does

The netis EPON OLT (Optical Line Terminal) EP8204 is an IEEE 802.3ah & CTC 2.1 standards compliant product with 1U chassis-based system. It provides 4 EPON ports in the system to support up to 512 ONUs. Together with netis ONUs, EP8204 completes the end-to-end FTTx with up to 1Gbps of bandwidth to residential and business customers. It is the ideal carrier class optical access platform for FTTx (FTTC, FTTB, FTTH).
