Dalian Ziqi Container Manufacturing Co., Ltd.
Container is an excellent value for the size. The difference between a standard height and high cube is strictly in the height of the container. 40ft High Cube Containers are 9’6″ Tall vs. the 8’6″ height of the standard ISO container. The additional height will increase the cargo capacity of the container by roughly 12% bringing the cubic capacity of the 40ft high cube container to 2,694 cu. ft. Ask your Container Alliance sales representative about high cube containers, they are an excellent value and always in stock in all condition categories.

1) What are the containers made out of ?
Intermodal Containers are constructed of COR-TEN Steel, a.k.a. corten steel. COR-TEN steel is formulated to be resistant to corrosion. Although resistant to corrosion, it is not impervious to it and unpainted areas should be cleaned and spot painted to insure long life.
2)What's the difference between CWO and WWT?
ZiQi uses the shipping container grades that are used by shipping lines. CWO means “cargo-worthy” and that a container can pass a CSC inspection to be stacked and transported on a cargo ship.
WWT means “wind/water tight” with working doors that seal. A CWO box is also “wind and water tight” but a WWT box can no longer be certified for shipment. WWT boxes are more likely to have cosmetic issues, and usually the reason a container can no longer pass a CSC inspection is that there are too many dents (or the dents are too large).
The main difference between a CWO and WWT box is that a CWO container can still be certified for shipment and a WWT box is likely to have more cosmetic issues than a CWO container.
“One trip” containers are “cargo-worthy” containers that were manufactured within the last 1-2 calendar years and generally have little to no cosmetic issues (maybe a few dings/dents and scraped paint from being stacked, but that’s it).
3) Can I look at the shipping container before I buy it?
