2.Tempered glass is made by heating flat glass to just below its softning temperature and suddenly chiling it with jets of cold air,so it can bear the change of temperature.For example,apiece of 5mm tolerates the temperature within wariations within  the range of 200°c

3.Tempered glass should undergo heat soak test to improve safety in use
