Overview

Gigabit Ethernet to STM-1 multiplexer is developed by BAUDCOM Co., Ltd for the operators especially to provide large client private line service access. It simplifies the conventional solution and makes it possible to sufficiently utilize the existing network transmission resources. It can be used to provide multi-point to single-point service access, so as to simplify the equipment configuration, optimize the network structure and realize uniform management in the entire network.

With SDH technology serving as the core, it is provided with access, convergence, transmission and management functions to both TDM services and wideband IP services. It is a sort of integrated access converter suitable for conventional telecommunication services and wideband data services. The equipment is based on Gfp protocol and capable of protocol encapsulation of Ethernet Over SDH; it is able to realize the conversion and convergence functions of 63 lines of E1 to Ethernet, and furthermore provided with VLAN and reverse multiplexing functions, so that the point to multi-point networking mode can be formed with Baudcom¡¯s Ethernet /E1 converters, through which characteristic edge network access equipment and solutions for large clients are available in the construction of large client point to multi-point private networks, so as to meet the multi-service access demands of edge network
