These are natural wood cutting boards. They are not stained. Because this is a natural wood product there will be color variations that will be different from what is shown. Each piece of wood is unique, and will be different from any other board we create.

The engraving process is a burning process. They are not stamped, inked, or printed on. The design is burned into the wood. Each piece and type of wood burns differently. Depending on hardness and age of the wood, the wood can burn differently with varying depths and color of burn.

Cutting boards are handmade from natural hard wood. They are strong and durable. 
OAK boards may be dark brown, light brown, or brown with yellow-white tones. Engraved oak has beautiful contrast, it can have marked graining that will be revealed.
