Introduction
Silver needle ( Bai Hao Yin Zhen ) produced at Fuding and Zhenghe areas in Fujian province. It is top grade in white tea. Single buds are plucked right when they fully develop and are ready to open. The beautifully acerose buds are covered with silvery hairs,hence the tea named "silver needle ".It's taken as "the beauty" in teas. Tea lovers describe it as "white like cloud, green like dream, pure like snow, aromatic like orchid". When infusing, every bud stands in the cup upright just like bamboo shoots after a spring rain. The sweetest of the white teas, Silver needle is made up of only buds from the tea bush.The very best Yinzhen are picked between March 15 and April 10 when it is not raining and only using undamaged and unopened buds.
Brew Tips
1. Generally use 3g white tea per 200ml (7oz) water.
2. The water temperature for brewing white tea should be 100% boiled water.
3. Pour the hot water over the tea leaves, and wait for about 5 minutes’ infusion when the water becomes light yellow.
4. Then enjoy the tea. Could brew 4-5 times.
