 Da Hong Pao is one of the most famous Chinese Oolong teas. It is listed one of the Top Ten Teas of China.  It originated from wild rare tea plants that were found growing on the cliff of Wuyi Mountain. The average altitude of Wuyi Mountain is about 650 meters. There are 36 graceful peaks and 99 famous crags.  There are so many mythic stories about Da Hong Pao Oolong Tea.

Processing technologyEdit

The collection and processing of Da Hong Pao tea are very sophisticated. Every spring, 3-4 new leaf shoots are picked. Through sunning dry, cooling blue, doing green, fried, first rubbing, re-fried, re-rubbing, water baking, toss sorting, cooling, sorting tick, re-baking, re-toss sorting, re-drying and so on process, the final product teas are made.
