1. Wood shavings preparation Section
Short and long logs of small diameter are fed into long-log flaker by the feeding conveyor, which sliced into qualified shavings at once, then the flakes will be
sent to wet flake bin. As for short branches and other materials, what will be sent to feeding belt
conveyor of drum chipper. Raw material are whittled to qualified chips by chipper, then wind send
these to wood bin as intermediate storage. Wood chips then pass the ring flakers to be qualified
wood shavings, and will be sent to the wet flake bin by wind.
2. Drying and sieving section
The flakes discharged from the wet flake bin are conveyed to the rotor dryer through screw conveyor.
Qualified flakes are screened in screening machine. Screw conveyor of dryer is equipped with spark
detection devices,once alarms, dry materials will be discharged outside the system automatically.
Qualified core flakes are stored in core flake bin; oversize flakes will resent to mill to be re-crushed,
and transported to surface flake bin.
3. Glue mixing and applying section
This section includes the wax emulsion and hardener solvent’s preparation and transportation,
additive storage and glue mixing and spreading system. After scaled, the core and surface flakes
are to be effectively and uniformly mixed with qualified glue independently in their glue mixers
respectively.
4. Forming and hot-pressing section
The surface and core flakes are sent into classi-forming machine, and forming on the mat conveyor uniformly. After processes of mental remover,
pre-press, lengthwise saw, cross saw, accelerate conveyor, scaling conveyor, storing conveyor
and loading conveyor, mats are transported to carrier and then to hot press. Rough boards after
pressing are pushed to unloader via pallet.
5. Cooling and sizing section
The rough board is conveyed to star-cooler for cooling, then the rough board goes through side trimming saw and become a qualified
particle-board, stacked on the hydraulic lift.
6. Sanding section
The storage board are sended into sanding system(include hydraulic lifters, roller conveyors, wide belt sander). Then sanded,checked and stored.
7. PLC system
The main controlling room is set in this particle board production line, through this you can realize
operating all machines automatically and manually from wood shavings measured, spreading,
shaping, hot press to trimming processes. Besides, set controlling console (box) in the operating
scene for each section(except hot press section) to control and monitor each machine’s operation.
