Today's small series mainly introduces the installation steps of aluminum alloy windows on residential balcony windows:
1. Reserve the opening
Before the installation of aluminum alloy windows, holes shall be reserved first. Windows larger than aluminum doors and windows shall be reserved on the wall. Generally, the left and right sides shall be increased by 1.5cm, the upper part by 1.5cm and the lower part by 2.5cm to facilitate the installation of aluminum alloy doors and windows. If the reserved size error is too large and aluminum alloy doors and windows cannot be installed, the Builder shall be responsible for handling it.
2. Three kinds of datum lines are determined
After the opening is reserved, the next step is to prepare setting out, which is a necessary procedure before installation. You should first set out and determine three kinds of datum lines, namely:
Center baseline -- determines the center position of the window.
Horizontal datum line -- determines the height and position of the window.
Access datum line -- determines the internal and external positions of the window.
3. Install the outer frame
Then start to install the outer frame. The installer will follow the measured position above. In the process of installing the outer frame of aluminum alloy window, it is necessary to use a plumb bob and a level ruler to determine its true horizontal position. After the vertical position, fill and fix it with a wooden wedge around the aluminum alloy frame. The next step is to embed the fixing sheet: embed the fixing sheet into the concrete wall or brick wall for 3-4 cm, mix the stones with 1:2 cement mortar for fixation, or weld the fixing sheet with the reinforcement by welding.
4. Cement patching
After the above processes are completed, the next step is cement patching. The specific method is: first remove the surrounding wooden wedge, and then caulk with cement mortar. The purpose of this is to prevent water seepage in the gap between the aluminum alloy frame and the wall.
The last procedure for the installation of aluminum alloy windows is: reserve the water blocking road joint: after the aluminum alloy doors and windows are caulked, the cement worker needs to nail the wood strip with 1cm square around the indoor edge of the outer frame before painting, reserve the water blocking road joint, lift the wood strip after painting, and fill it with leak proof agent to prevent rainwater infiltration.
