1. Welding work-piece (according to customer’s requirements)
a. Pipe length: 300-3000mm
b. Pipe diameter: maximum 200mm
c. Pipe weight: less than 100kg
2. Main machine structure and introduction
Automatic girth seam welding machine is with economy structure and with automatically design idea. During the welding process, chuck will clamp and tail-stock tightening device the work-piece at the same time, rotation head will turn the work-piece, welding gun’s position is fixed, all the welding process is automatically.
3. Main features
a. Powerful rotation head: the loading capacity is 100kg to ensure the work-piece could be 360° arbitrary rotation, rotation speed is from 0.5 to 5rpm step less adjustable, maximum diameter of the work-piece: 10-200mm
b. Chuck No. 1: FSM-200 series chuck jaw (it is suitable for 10-200mm work-piece), hole through spindle to ensure work-piece could be through, chuck jaw with fixed handle, it can quick tighten and loosen
c. Chuck No. 2: pneumatic tail-stock (air powered tip) is used to tightening work-piece, and ensure the left and right sides of work-piece at the same level, to prevent the swing during the welding process
d. Horizontal rail and base framework at the bottom of main machine, powerful rotation head/ welding gun shelf/ support shelf/ tail-stock is set on it, and it could suitable for maximum 3000mm work-piece
e. Support roller: 2 sets, which is used to support the long work-piece, screw to adjust the height
f. Welding torch holder: 1 set welding gun holder, air cylinder and multi-angle manual adjust the welding gun in order to keep it in right position
g. Control system: PLC control the preset program automatically working, it can control welding gun/ wire feeding device and welder at the same time
4. Working steps
Fix the work-piece - tread the foot pedal - air cylinder tightening the work-piece - fix the chuck - press the panel button - feed the welding gun -adjust the welding gun to face the weld - press the panel button - start welding
