Introduction

MBR  Integrated Module Membrane Ultrafiltration is a new-type water treatment technology, integrated with membrane separation unit and biological treatment unit. MBR  Integrated Module Membrane Ultrafiltration is used instead of secondary sedimentation tank in the bioreactor to maintain high activated sludge concentration and reduce the land area of wastewater treatment facility and the sludge amount through maintaining low sludge load. The MBR  Integrated Module Membrane Ultrafiltration can completely block and retain the microorganisms in the bioreactor through its filtration function, which achieves the complete separation between the hydraulic retention time and activated sludge age, thus avoiding the sludge expansion problem of conventional activated sludge process. Compared with conventional biological water treatment technology, MBR  Integrated Module Membrane Ultrafiltration has the following main characteristics including high treatment efficiency, good outlet water quality, compact layout, small footprint, easy automatic control and easy operation management.

 

MBR  Integrated Module Membrane Ultrafiltration is made of PTFE membane, which is so called ‘King of Plastics’. PTFE membrane is much more competitive in strong strength, higher flux, better anti-pollution and longer service life.  MBR  Integrated Module Membrane Ultrafiltration is a suspended growth-activated sludge system that utilizes micro porous membranes for solid/liquid separation instead of secondary clarifiers. MBR  Integrated Module Membrane Ultrafiltration uses precision filter membranes having pore sizes of 0.1 µm. MBR treated water can be used for landscaping, toilet flushing, and a variety of other applications.

The principle of MBR  Integrated Module Membrane Ultrafiltration is based upon the separation of solids suspended in a watery solution by means of a pressure difference. While the water permeates through the membrane, the solids, bacteria and even most viruses are retained on the concentrate side on the membrane surface where they are removed by relative movement.
MBR  Integrated Module Membrane Ultrafiltration is provided with multiple membrane elements in an integrated MBR  Integrated Module Membrane Ultrafiltration in 2 or 3 stages in an aerobic tank. MBR  Integrated Module Membrane Ultrafiltration utilizes side-stream cross-flow membrane configuration. The wastewater is filtrated using suction filtration, and the filtered water becomes treated.


Air is supplied from the air diffuser installed on the bottom of the MBR  Integrated Module Membrane Ultrafiltration to prevent sludge from adhering to the membrane surface. Thus, the system can perform stable treatment without getting clogged.
