I. QUARTZ SAND FILTER

Quartz sand filter is the most effective means of removal of suspended solids in water, also is important sand filter for advanced wastewater treatment, wastewater recycling and water supply treatment. quartz sand filter use quartz as filter medium, within a certain pressure, high turbidity water filter through a certain thickness of granular or the grain of the quartz sand filter, remove effectively the suspended solids, organic matter, colloid particles, microbial, chlorine, smelling and some heavy metal ions etc in the water, finally reduce water turbidity, purify water quality.  Quartz sand filter is the pre-filtration of reverse filtration and ultrafiltration equipment. Mainly used for silt, colloid, metal ions and organic matter intercepted and adsorbed. Common filter material is quartz sand, activated carbon, hard coal, manganese sand and so on. II.wash status

While in filter status, unfiltered water flow in laminar state through packing layer (refined grain of quartz sand and garnet)by water distribution. impurities are trapped when water flow packing layer. Multiple distributions have set uniformly at the bottom of the filter. Collect and raise the filter water, smoothly filter, the filter flow in high speed and still achieve better filtering effect.

II.backwash status

While impurities accumulated continuously in the packing layer, inner head loss will continue to increase, the inlet and outlet water head loss reach the expected value and system will automatically activate the constant pressure device to the backwashing state. This filter backwashing finishes, water hydraulic valves change water direction, more easily clean build-up impurities.

III. MULTI-MEDIA SAND FILTER

Multi-media filter (filter bed), that is adopted two or more material as filter media , in industries water recycling system treatment, remove impurities in waste water, adsorb oil and so on. Let water quality meet recycling requirement. Main use for filtering is removing suspended or colloidal impurities in water. Especially effectively remove tiny particles and bacteria that precipitation technique can’t do. Also it has removal effect for BOD5 and COD to some extent.

Multi-media sand filter selection

By control type, it divided into manual and automatic. Manual type mainly control filter’s operation, wash, backwash by adjustment of valve. While Automatic type is by LCD intelligent programmable controller. According to tank’s material, it divides into glass fiber reinforced plastics tank, carbon steel tank, stainless steel tank. Tank inner wall can be coated epoxy and rubber lining anticorrosion.

IV. FIBER FILTER 

Efficient fiber filter based on adaptive filter media (comet type filter media) is a special series filter owning this core technique. Adaptive filter media is a new filter material, more cleaner for backwash particle and less water consumption, filter bed porosity formed with this filter media distributes approximately ideal filter media structure.

Walnut shell filter, use walnut shell as filter media, special processing walnut shell, large surface area, strong adsorption ability, so stripping capability is more higher. As for the nature of hydrophilic but no oil, while stirred in backwash process, walnut shell grinded each other, thus it is equipped with stripping and regeneration capacity and good chemical stability, make for filter long term stability.
