3. When the plate thickness of the butt joint is less than 3mm, no bevel shall be provided; when the plate thickness is 3~10mm, 60°~70°V-shaped bevel; when the plate thickness is greater than 10mm, 60°~70°X-shaped bevel shall be provided . In order to avoid incomplete welding, generally no blunt edges are left.

4. The workpiece must be preheated before welding. The preheating temperature is 150~300℃ for plate thickness less than 3mm; when the plate thickness is greater than 3mm, the preheating temperature is 350~500℃.
5. Use DC positive polarity welding when performing TIG welding.
