Description of brazed tips
1. Product Application:
Brazed tools, also called carbide-tipped lathe tool bits and single-point brazed carbide-tipped
tools, are used for metal shaping on lathes. These single-point tools have a cutting edge at one
end that is a carbide tip brazed to a steel shaft. They come in multiple geometry styles for
different cutting applications

4. Tips for using of brazed tips:
1) Structure of brazed cutting tool should have enough rigidity;
2) The brazed tips should be fixed strongly onto the holder;
3) Check and ensure good condition of the holder before brazing;
4) Choose the proper welding material;
5) Choose the proper welding flux;
6) Use correct sharpening method;
7) Mount the brazed cutting tool properly;
8) Resharpening the brazed cutting tool properly.
