IEC61000-4-2 20KV Output Voltage Electrostatic Discharge Generator
1. Introduction:
The electrostatic discharge generator can meet the test requirements of IEC61000-4-2 and GB/T17626.2. Electrostatic discharge is a transfer of electric charge between bodies of different electrostatic potential in proximity or through direct contact.
Electrostatic discharge immunity test is a basic EMC test, the ESD generator is a special equipment to conduct ESD test, it consists by ESD generator, ESD gun, electrodes (cone sharp electrode is for contact discharge, and ball sharp electrode is for air discharge) and control PAD. The discharge resistance 330Ω and energy storage capacitance 150pF are built-in the ESD gun, and they can easy to replace to meet different product standards.
2. Features:
1). The air discharge completely meet the standard requirement to keep the voltage for 5s above, and do not affect by air humidity, with good repeatability.
2). Remotely control the test by PAD, safer operation.
3). HV protection, over current protection and short circuit protection.
4). Updated system can automatically identify air discharge.
