Product Details

flex durability tester

Brand Name celtec
Place of Origin China
Model Number GFT-01
Power Electronic

Product Features

GFT-01 is a high-efficiency plastic film sample kneading preparation equipment by Gelbo Flex test method ASTM F392. It is suitable for anti-rubbing performance test of various films, composite films, coating films and other materials, such as barrier materials for food packaging, soft barrier films in sterile medical device packaging, etc. It can simulate the behavior of rubbing, creasing, bending and pressure damage of the film in the process of production, processing and transportation.

After the flex test, the anti-flex performance of the material is judged by detecting the change in the number of pinholes before and after the test or the change in the permeation barrier performance, which provides a quantitative basis for packaging design and practical application.

FEATURES

1.  PLC control and 7 inch touch screen operation
2.  5 standard test modes and 4 test stations
3.  Long and short stroke fast switching
4.  Condition A,B,C,D and E can be chosen
5.  Micro printer
6.  Could realize test frequency random setting

The sample size (200 by 280 mm) is attached to the flex tester mandrels. The flexing action consists of a twisting motion
combined with a horizontal motion (compression), thus repeatedly twisting and crushing the film. The test set up gives a twisting motion of 440º in the first 90 mm of the stroke and is followed by a straight horizontal motion of 65 mm. The speed is 45 cycles per minute.

Test Principle
The tester consist of four groups of two flat circular discs that are 90mm in diameter. The initial distance between the discs is200mm.
The flat film of 200mm by 280mm is mounted on two circular discs, via hose clamps to form film into a tube like shape. The movable mandrel imparts a rotational motion combined with translation, thus repeatedly twisting and compressing the film.
