SD3228N24 3-Phase hybrid stepper driver is designed to drive MOTEC SM3 series NEMA34(85mm) NEMA42(110mm), NEMA51(132mm) 3-Phase hybrid stepper Motors with 30~110VAC or 40~150VDC input voltage and 8.0A max phase current. SD3228N24 is made with high quality components resulting high reliability and stability and can be controller with pulse/direction and CW/CCW control signals. It is a cost effective 3-Phase stepper driver using MOTEC patent technologies featuring low heat production, low speed (as low as 1rpm) stability and relatively high torque at high speed etc.
The major difference between SD3228N and SD3228N24 is the control signal input voltage ( pulse and direction). 24V signal for SD3228N24 and 5V for SD3228N.

l Two LED lights. Power light will turn on when there is input voltage. Status light will
flash when there is an alert. The number of the flash times indicates alert code.
l Power supply: 150~260VAC or 210~360VDC
l Output Current:0 ~ 8A(Peak). Adjustable with DIP switches.
l Auto-Half-Current function: Output current will anatomically reduced 50% when there’s no pulse input for a certain period.
l Micro-step:400 ~ 60000(pulse/turn). Adjustable with DIP switches.

SD3228N24 can be used to drive NEMA34(85mm) NEMA42(110mm), NEMA51(132mm) motors from MOTEC with a holding torque range from 2.0 to 50N.m. It is recommended to use MOTEC 3-phase stepper motor with SD3228N24 stepper drive however most 3-phase stepper motor on the market are compatible.
