This standard regulates general use cylindrical cold formed helical compression spring that
use circular cross-section materials ranging in diameter from 0.2–3.2 mm.
Compliant with Japan Spring Manufacturers
Association standards (JSMA No. 7 “Helical cylindrical compression springs”
and JSMA No. 8 “Helical cylindrical tension springs”).
