****** Firefighter uniform;firefighter jacket * Fabric: TenCate Millenia 450 Outer shell 180gsm. * Anti-wicking hem strip. * EN 469 Level 2. * Lining: Thermal Liner 130gsm. * Exceeds requirements of EN469. * Wadding: Thermal Moisture Barrier 140gsm. * Radio pocket on left chest. * Quick release zip. * Underarm gusset. * Para-aramid knitted cuffs with thumb-holes. * Aramid thread on all seams and top sewing. * Collar designed to sit neatly with all helmets. **** This firefighter over-Coat is a thermal lined EN469 requirement succeeding jacket which is ideal for fire fighters. Its fabric is of a unique TenCate Millenia 450 outer shell, which is multi-layered and provides protection from heat and wind, whilst allowing body perspiration to be wicked away from the surface inside. This overcoat features a quick release zip, and an underarm gusset to help improve mobility whilst wearing it. Aramid threading throughout and para-aramid cuffs with thumb holes to provide additional protection from heat and flame damage. The collar of this protective jacket has been shaped to allow a more comfortable fit when used in conjunction with all helmets. |

fabrics are available today, some of which are perceived as being more comfortable than others. FR clothing does not necessarily need to be more uncomfortable than standard clothing.
