Descriptions

As a long-range outdoor wireless device, the OAP980 is designed to provide PTP/PTMP WDS connectivity and long-range wireless networking solutions. It operates seamlessly in the 5.8GHz spectrum and offers wireless data transfer rates of up to 900Mbps. The device also features up to 1000mW of wireless transmit power and features an external 23dBi directional antenna, providing a cost-effective way to pick up and maintain a stable signal for wireless network connections within a 20km range.

The transmission RF power is adjustable based on environment. Cut down RF power in place with high density of people or wireless AP, or increase RF power in long range place to improve the performance.

High Transmission Capability

With up to 1000mw wireless transmission power and 23dBi directional high-gain sector antenna, OAP990 can transmit strong and stable signals for long-distance PTP/PTMP wireless connections up to 20km.

Passive PoE Support for Flexible Deployment
Powered by a Passive PoE Injector, the Outdoor AP can use an Ethernet cable to simultaneously send data and electricity wherever the AP may be located, as far as 200 feet away. This feature multiplies deployment options, allowing you to place the AP in a position that is most convenient to get the best signal possible.
