Magnesia Hercynite bricks


Introduction:

Magnesia Hercynite brick (also called Magnesia Iron Spinel Brick or Magnesia Spinel Brick) is a new style alkaline refractory material that has no chrome content. Magnesia iron spinel bricks are developed to solve the hexavalent chromium pollution problems for the cement rotary kiln. Magnesia iron spinel refractory bricks are made from high purity magnesia sand and AL-Fe spinel materials. Magnesia iron spinel refractory brick has the characteristics of high cold crushing strength, good thermal shock resistance, high temperature low creep properties. Moreover, magnesia hercynite bricks displayed superior coating adherence to magnesia chrome brick. Therefore, magnesia iron spinel bricks are widely applied in the burning zone of cement rotary kiln.

 

Magnesia Hercynite Bricks Properties

1.          Excellent hanging kiln skin performance.

2.          Low thermal conductivity (1000 , 2.27W/m.K) and low thermal expansion coefficient (1000 , 1.217%).

3.          Excellent structural flexibility and strong corrosion and permeability resistance to K2SO4, Na2SO4, NaCl and KCl alkali salts decomposed by cement materials.

4.          High refractoriness under load and excellent thermal shock resistance make it suitable for the key parts of SP and NSP kilns which are of high kiln temperature, fast rotating speed, strong alkali erosion ability and heavy mechanical load. It can effectively prolong the service life of furnace lining and maintain low temperature on kiln barrel.
