ABS sheets have replaced traditional metal materials due to is ease of formability, increased durability, and better weatherability. ABS sheet also exhibits a high resistance to chemicals, moisture, and high temperatures and can be machined, drilled, or die-cut with relative ease.
ABS sheet is also a coextruded sheet with a top layer of clear acrylic. This gives the sheet a superior shiny appearance, improved scratch resistance and excellent weatherability too.
Acrylic capped ABS also has the same thermoforming properties as standard ABS sheet.
