Product Features

POM-C/H (black, white): represents POM copolymer and POM homopolymer, respectively. POM copolymer has low melting point, thermal stability, chemical corrosion resistance, flow characteristics, hydrolysis resistance, strong alkali resistance and thermal oxidation degradation, and better processability than homoformaldehyde.

POM homopolymer has higher crystallinity, creep resistance, lower thermal expansion rate, better wear resistance, mechanical strength, rigidity, and thermal deformation temperature than co formaldehyde. (Currently, POM-C copolymerization is commonly used for POM semi-finished products on the market)

POM-H+PTFE (dark brown POM-H+TF) is extruded from DuPont POM (DELLIN) raw material and PTFE (Teflon) fibers. It retains most of the inherent strength of POM-H. Due to the addition of PTFE (Teflon) fibers, there are some performance changes, which are slightly soft, less rigid, and smoother than pure polyoxymethylene resin. Compared with pure POM board, this material has better lubricity. The bearings made of POM-H+PTFE have low friction coefficient, wear resistance, and almost no creep phenomenon.

(1) POM is a crystalline plastic with a density of 1.42g/cm3. It has good toughness and is commonly known as "Saigang"

(2) It has excellent properties such as fatigue resistance, creep resistance, wear resistance, heat resistance, impact resistance, etc., and has low friction coefficient and good self-lubrication

(3) POM is not easily hygroscopic, with a water absorption rate of 0.22-0.25%. It has good dimensional stability in humid environments, with a shrinkage rate of 2.1% (relatively large). It is difficult to control the size during injection molding, with a thermal deformation temperature of 172 ℃. There are two types of polyoxymethylene: homopolymer and co polymer, with different properties (homopolymer has better temperature resistance)

The anti-static POM board is made of polyoxymethylene as the substrate and added with carbon based fillers. Its impedance value is stable, and it exhibits high performance characteristics in the field of anti-static materials. The anti-static value of all parts of the anti-static POM board is the same, and the overall resistance value is 106-109 Ω. After mechanical processing or surface wear, the anti-static value remains unchanged, resistant to organic solvents, insoluble at room temperature, and has excellent low temperature performance. The use temperature is -40-90 ℃, with excellent friction resistance and anti potential modification, High mechanical strength, high rigidity and hardness. Process characteristics:

(1) Before POM processing, drying is not necessary. It is best to preheat (around 800 ℃) during the processing, which is beneficial for the stability of product size

(2) The processing temperature of POM is very narrow (0-215 ℃), and it will decompose when it stays in the barrel for a slightly longer time or when the temperature exceeds 220 ℃, producing highly irritating formaldehyde gas

(3) When injecting POM material, the pressure maintaining pressure should be relatively high (similar to the injection pressure) to reduce pressure drop. The screw speed should not be too high and the residual amount should be less;

(4) POM products have a high shrinkage rate and are prone to shrinkage or deformation POM has a high specific heat and high mold temperature (800~100 ℃), making the product very hot during demolding. It is necessary to prevent finger burns

(5) POM should be formed and processed under the conditions of "medium pressure, medium speed, low material temperature, and high mold temperature". When forming precision products, it is necessary to control the mold temperature
