Therer are three types available; BK7 for from visiable range to infrared wavelength range, high-strength synthetic fused silica which has high laser damage threshold used in less tahn350nm ultraviolet light, and synthetic fused siliuca lens for exclimer laser corresponding to the exclimer laser such as KrF(248nm) and ArF(193nm).
BK7 lenses are  also avaliable with three types of anti-reflection coating, visiable wavelength range, in the near-infrared range and in the infrared range.
