 How to use

Installation

Suggestion A, wall mounting

On the back of unit you’ll find an eyelet to mount the unit onto the wall. The unit should be mounted above the water level of the aquarium to prevent water from flowing back into the unit, e.g. in case of power failure.

Suggestion B installation in the cabinet

The unit can be placed inside a cabinet underneath the aquarium(make sure the cabinet is well aired).To prevent water from flowing back into the unit, you have to install a hose loop, reaching ca.20cm above water level.

Star-up:Place the unit and mains plug in a dry area. Plug 12V-plug into mains supply, turn rheostat to zero. Plug mains plug (220V 50Hz) in wall-socket.

How much ozone is required?

The ozone output can be adjusted by turning the rheostat. As a standard value we recommend 10mg ozone/h in 100 L sea water and 5 mg ozone/h in 100L fresh water.

Time setting.

AWhen the fish tank volume is smaller than 500L, suggest choosing the 60min.

B When the fish tank volume is smaller than 800L, suggest choosing the 90min.

C When the fish tank volume is smaller than 1000L, suggest choosing the 120min.

D. Never set the unit to permanent operation unless you are using a ORP controller.

Notes: 1.The 60min means shut down the machine for four hours after operations for 60minutes, and then let it continue to work, go round and begin again. The other setting are similar to this

2.For the start-up we recommend to increase the ozone output slowly over a period of 14 days to let the biology of the aquarium adjust to the better water quality.
