Introduction to ZXMP S200
The ZXMP S200 is a kind of compact SDH transmission equipment for multi-service access, supporting the rate up to STM-4. It can serve as the corollary transmission equipment in GSM, CDMA or 3G base stations. It can also be used to access multi-services for customers in buildings or communities and private line services for business customers. Moreover the ZXMP S200 can replace existing PDH equipment for transmission.
The ZXMP S200 is designed as a platform, strictly complying with related ITU-T recommendations and China national standards. It provides a main board inserted horizontally into the chassis, for the access of various services. The chassis can be mounted on desktop, in cabinet or on wall.
The main board of the ZXMP S200 integrates all SDH functions (including transparent transmission of data service), providing the bus, control and communication interfaces for extension plug-in cards. Multiple plug-in cards are optional which provide more powerful service access function. Moreover, the main board and plug-in cards support the remote online upgrade of board software, including software programs and FPGA programs.

Small Size and Compact Structure:
With small size and high integration, the ZXMP S200 can be mounted in a standard 19-inch cabinet, on desktop or the wall. It needs less space for accommodation. All interfaces are located at the front, which makes the equipment convenient to operate and maintain.
Abundant Service Functions:
The ZXMP S200 can access multi-services, including traditional SDH services and data services. The space division cross- connect capacity is up to 16 × 16 VC-4, while the time division cross-connect capacity is up to 1008 × 1008 VC-12.
Optical interfaces of the ZXMP S200 adopt Small form Factor Pluggable (SFP) modules, supporting interface diagnosis function.
The ZXMP S200 supports the latest E1/T1 mapping and multiplexing structure specified by ITU-T recommendations.

DC Power Board (PWA/PWB)
The ZXMP S200 provides two kinds of DC power board to meet different power supply environment. They are the PWA board for-48 V primary DC power supply and the PWB board for +24 Vprimary DC power supply.
AC Power Board (PWC)
Besides the DC power board (PWA/PWB), the ZXMP S200 provides an AC power board (PWC) to meet the environment where only 220 V AC power supply is available.

The ZXMP S200 can act as a terminal multiplexer (TM), an add/drop multiplexer (ADM) or a regenerator at rate of STM-1 or STM-4, performing corresponding functions in SDH networks.
