This CB product can be used as a clutch or brake as needed, it depends on its installation mode. When this CB element fixed on flywheel, it works as a clutch; when it is fixed on flange plate, CB element used as a brake as below picture shown.
This CB product is driven by air pressure, when inputting air source into air tube, rubber tube expanded and making friction linings forward. When this element used as a clutch, friction linings forward, hug load shaft and driven part, clutch linking and making them rotating together. When this element used as a brake, friction linings forward, hug rotating part and shaft, brake braked and making rotating part stopped.

Take the 12CB350 clutch for example, when air pressure is 0.1Mpa, its torque is 297N.m; when air pressure is 0.5Mpa, its torque is 1490N.m; when air pressure is 0.8Mpa, its torque is 2380N.m. On the other hand, model larger, it is equiped friction lining quantity is much, too.
