Scraper
The cutter is a soft ground cutter, which is arranged on both sides of the open groove of the cutterhead. The cutting principle is that the tunnel boring machine advances forward, and the cutter rotates with the cutterhead to generate axial direction on the excavation surface soil (in the tunnel advancing direction) .The cutting force and the radial (cutting direction of the cutter head) cutting force, the blade and the cutter head are inserted into the ground under the rotation of the cutter head, and the soil in front of the excavation face is continuously cut. The scraper is generally suitable for loose formations such as sand, pebbles and clay with a particle size of less than 400 mm.
