Saamia Impex Himalayan Salt Neti Pot
Our Neti Pots and Himalayan Crystal Salt dissolved in water are excellent tools for cleansing and clearing the sinus passages. This can help provide relief of sinus headaches, blockages, allergies and snoring.
Himalayan Crystal Salt is gentle on the linings of the nasal cavity. Having clear sinuses results in more efficient breathing which can result in improved sports performance and relieve from head pain when diving. Rinsing the sinuses with Himalayan Crystal Salt and warm water can also help clear blocked noses and ears and prevent infections.
How to use:
- Add ¼ quarter teaspoon Natural Crystal Salt to the Neti Pot and fill to below the spout with warm water. Allow salt to dissolve or stir.
- Lean over a basin, bath or pot plant, or stand outside in the garden or in nature. Tilt the head slightly to one side and hold the spout of the neti pot against the outside of the upper nostril. While breathing through the mouth, pour the solution into the nostril and it should flow through the sinuses and come out the other nostril.
- If the solution does not flow out the other nostril, adjust the angle of the spout, or move head up/down, forward/backward or sideways.
- If passages are very blocked, the solution may initially not come out the other nostril. Keep repeating the process and after a few days or a week or two, as the sinuses clear, the water should flow.
- You may wish to blow your nose afterwards to clear any remaining water or mucus.
- Repeat the procedure regularly (daily) for best effect.
