GMG-2020S 2kW /2450MHz is a Microwave Power Source with the output power range from 0W to 2000W, WR–340 waveguide flange, compact size and good interlock protection, which can be widely used for laboratories and industrial application.

2. Features and General Specifications

2.1. Features:

1) Use the magnetron 2M-278 as microwave generator with 2kw output power.

2) Use auto-control system, easy to operate.

3) Use full protecting interlock circuit to ensure operating safely and reliably.

7)Transmitting system: This power source is suggested to match with WR-340 transmitting system, which consists of circulator, dummy load, tuner and others, so that it can be working stable with a various load.

10)Output waveguide:   WR-340 with FD-340 standard flange.

3. Working principle

The 220VAC, single phase power is converted to DC high voltage to meet the magnetron needs. The anode of magnetron is connected to ground, and the filament of magnetron is at high negative voltage with a good isolation to ensure safely operating.

The 2M278 magnetron is the microwave power generator which can deliver the output power from 0kw to 2kw continuously at 2450MHz with high efficiency. When adjust the magnetron High Voltage, it can change the anode current and the output power. Microwave power transmits to the application cavity by WR340 standard waveguide.

Filament control block offers automatic controlling the filament current of magnetron following with the electrode current increasing. This ensures the magnetron working stable and longer life time.
