Fiberglass molded grating providing bi-directional support, moulded grating is strong yet light, and easy to install. Created from only the highest quality glass fibres and quality resin, it is a superior alternative solution compared to steel floors.
Our moulded gratings are available in a variety of thicknesses: 25mm, 38mm, or 50mm. They are also suitable for forklift traffic areas.
There are several types of resins that our mould gratings are made from. The resin systems that FRP Engineering has available in stock are Isophthalic Polyester, ISOFR and Vinyl Ester, VEFR and Phenolic. Other resin systems are available as a Special Order. Each of these resin systems have different purposes and applications, such as the type of environment that the resin systems are best suited for.

Different surface for the FRP grating:
Concave Surface (meniscus profile) – This is how the grating comes naturally out of the mold. The raised edges form a lip which offers slip resistance
Grit Surface – Excellent slip resistant surface
Barefoot Grit - Perfect for Water park applications or parks where little feet may be barefoot yet still require slip resistance.
Standard Grit - Most commonly used
Aluminum Oxide Grit - Heavy Industrial Application
Smooth Surface – Great for Bar Screens at Wastewater Treatment plants or Architectural applications
The following is the height 25mm and 38mm.
We can also do height 15mm, 30mm, 40mm and 50mm and so on.
As our experience, the most popular size is mesh size 38mm*38mm, height 38mm.
For this size, the bar is 7mm/5mm
For the frp grating, we can also do different colors as your requirement.
The most popular color is yellow and grey, we can also do green, black, orange, white or other color.
