FRP Molded Grating is a structural panel which uses high-strength E-Glass roving as reinforcing material, thermosetting resin as matrix and then casted and formed in a special metal mold.

Molded grating panels are 1″, 1-1/2″, or 2″ thick. When selecting your molded fiberglass grating walkways, check the weight-bearing specifications and span between the supports in the structure holding up the walkway. The farther the supports are apart underneath the grating, the stronger the grating required.
Polyester Resin Classes & Characteristics:
Orthophthalic Resin: General Purpose commonly referred as a General Purpose Resin,provides basic containment properties. Most fiberglass grating customer choose this resin, suitable quality with competitive price.
Fiberglass moulded FRP walkway gratings use unsaturated polyester resin (inlcuding isophthalic, orthophthalic, vinyl and phenolic and so on) as the base, the fiberglass as the skeleton. Through weaving and pressing or by hand making then heating to finsh the products on the metal mold.
FRP moulded gratings according to usages and appearance have normal type, transparent color type, concave type, antiskid, double layer small hole, grinding surface type, cover plate type, cover plate with sand, etc.
FRP moulded grating is applied in chemical, oil, electrical, metallurgy, electroplate, machinery, pharmaceutical, dyeing, mining industries, waste water treatment, house decoration, car washing and so on.
The FRP gratings are integrally constructed for a high strength.
The specific gravity is 1.8g/cm3. Its specific gravity is only 1/4 of steel, 2/3 of aluminium.
FRP grating distributed evenly loading to all parts on it. The strength is 10 times as much as hard PVC, the absolute strength is more than aluminium, reach the normal steel's level.
Fiberglass grating offers lower cost than steel, long service life (more than 20 years), no maintenance, although the initional investment is higher than common carbon steel. So it is more economic in terms of the total benefit.
