Product Features

Siemens flame detector

Siemens original stock, infrared photoelectric eye QRI2 detects infrared, used to detect yellow flames, that is, to detect infrared in flames, and can be used for fuel flame safety detection. QRI2A2.B180B is used in conjunction with Siemens program controllers for large burners, and can operate continuously or intermittently.

Infrared flame detection.

QRI2B2.B180B Siemens Flame Detector

Flame signal amplifier.

There are two types of detection: frontal detection and side detection.

Automatic inspection function.

Not limited by the load of the burner.

Not limited by operating mode.

Installation, assembly, and service work must be completed by professional personnel

Before making any circuit changes within the connection area of the detector, isolate the equipment from the main power supply (all two levels disconnected).

Provide appropriate protection for connecting terminals to ensure they are not exposed to the hazards of electric shock. Check and confirm that the wiring is connected correctly.

Check and confirm that the wiring is connected correctly. Halogen lamps, welding equipment, special lighting fixtures, or ignition sparks may generate sufficient radiation to ignite the UV unit of the detector. X-rays and gamma rays can also cause erroneous flame signals.

Falling or hitting can affect safety functions. Such detector units cannot operate, even if their appearance appears to be damaged at all.

The UV flame detector is designed for Siemens burner control devices to monitor oil and gas flames and ignition sparks. In order to ensure the free operation of the burner, these detectors continuously monitor the intensity of UV radiation from the burner flame during each half cycle, providing signal current for the control system.

The UV unit of the detector is located behind the rotating baffle at the front end of the detector tube, which is connected to the casing through a flange. Quartz glass windows protect pipes and blinds from dust entry. A hard shell accommodates a stepper motor that drives the shutter and electronic devices that control the shutter.

High sensitivity, the shell is made of die-cast aluminum. The UV flame detector is designed for use in Siemens burner controllers for monitoring gas or oil flames.

Flame protection devices, approved for continuous operation, are used to monitor oil and gas flames in applications with ionization probes and photocell detectors RAR9.

Flame protection using UV flame detectors QRA2/QRA2M/QRA4/QRA4M/QRA10/QRA10M in intermittent operation mode.

UV flame detector, normal sensitivity, with flange/fixture, designed for use in Siemens burner controllers for monitoring gas or oil flames.

Installation precautions

Always run the high-voltage ignition cables separately, while observing the possible distance between the detector and other cables from the electrical connection of the flame detector. It is important to achieve actual non-interference and lossless signal transmission:

• Do not run the detector cable together with other cables - the line capacitance reduces the size of the flame signal - use a separate cable

Observe the allowable length of the detector cable (see Using Burner Control)

The connecting wire must pass through the protective tube (made of plastic or grounded metal)
