The monitor is programmed using 3500 rack configuration software. You can configure a 16 channel temperature monitor to accept isolated tip thermocouples, 3-wire RTDs, wire RTDs, or a combination of TC and RTD inputs.
In a three module redundant (TMR) configuration, temperature monitors must be installed in a group of three adjacent monitors. In this configuration, the monitor uses two voting methods to ensure accurate operation and avoid single point of failure.
