There are six types of reinforcement sleeve connection: (variable diameter type and flared type are not introduced here)

 

1. Standard connection

 

Possible free rotation of the application. The use of iron bars causes each other to lock the end forces of the bridge segments opposite each other. Choose standard sleeve or variable diameter connecting sleeve.

 

2. Extended connection

 

It is used where the reinforcement is too long and dense to rotate. The connecting sleeve shall be screwed into the extended thread of one reinforcement in advance, and then the end thread of the connected reinforcement shall be screwed reversely. The connector can be locked by rotating the reinforcement for half to one turn. The standard connecting sleeve can be selected.

 

3. Lock female connection

 

It is used for the mutual docking of bending reinforcement, bridge, cast-in-place pile and other reinforcement cages. Screw the lock nut and the connecting sleeve into the extended thread in advance, then screw in another rebar end thread, and lock the connecting sleeve with the lock nut. Standard or flared connecting sleeve with lock nut can be selected

 

4. Positive and negative screw connection

 

It is used where the reinforcement cannot rotate at all and the internal force of the reinforcement needs to be adjusted, such as construction joint, post cast strip, etc. The connecting sleeve is provided with positive and negative screw threads, and two rebars can be loosened or tightened in one screwing direction. The connecting sleeve with positive and negative screw threads shall be used first.


Rib stripping and rolling straight thread connection of reinforcement is a new reinforcement connection sleeve technology. Its structural principle is to strip part of the longitudinal rib and transverse rib at the end of the reinforcement to be connected by cutting, and then roll it directly into ordinary straight thread, and then connect it with a special straight thread reinforcement connection sleeve to form the connection of reinforcement.

 

The advantages of this connection method are as follows:

 

Good mechanical properties and safe and reliable connection: due to the rolling forming of the end of the reinforcement and the cold work treatment of the reinforcement material, the strength of the thread and the reinforcement has been improved, which makes up for the impact of the weakening of the strength caused by the bottom diameter of the thread less than the diameter of the base circle of the reinforcement base metal, so that the strength of the connected joint is higher than that of the base metal, and the base metal can give full play to its strength and ductility.

 

Convenient connection: it can be operated flexibly at places with dense reinforcement arrangement in narrow and small sites. Convenient construction and high efficiency: the reinforcement connecting sleeve is prefabricated in the factory, with quality assurance: each set of on-site rolling wire head equipment can process nearly 400 joints per shift. It has incomparable advantages in the construction of large quantities and basement bottom plate. There is no pollution, open fire operation, good safety and environmental protection, and can be constructed all day.

 

Easy to detect: there is no need to use specific testing equipment during construction. The quality of the joint can be measured only by looking at the exposed wire teeth of the reinforcement. Strong applicability: it is applicable to the reinforcement connection of all seismic and non seismic reinforced concrete structure projects, and it is applicable to bending reinforcement, fixed reinforcement, reinforcement cage, super long reinforcement and other occasions that cannot rotate.
