Our Chemical Gypsum Treatment Procedure

Our technicians have started the research of phosphogypsum treatment and equipments' production since 2002. In 2003, it was put into application and started its pilot plant test and production for Shandong Jinxin Corporation. In 2004, the first Phosphogypsum Treatment Production Line with capacity  of 1.5 million tons was launched and in 2005, it succeeded in producing gypsum material for the company's paper-faced gypsum board production line with capacity of 15 million sqms.

After the year of 2005, we provided phosphogypsum production lines in succession to Sichuan Gaoyu Chemical Industry Company with capacity of 200, 000 tons, Guizhou Hongfu Industrial Group with capacity of 500, 000 tons and 500, 000 sqms' gypsum block, Hebei Shenzhou Company with capacity of 100, 000 tons and Henan Sanxing Company with capacity  of 100, 000 tons, which accumulated a wealth  of experience at phosphogypsum's treament and construction.

Moreover, we also got a distinctive achievement in the comprehensive utilization of desulfurized gypsum for electric power plant. Plants that have installed our desulfurized gypsum production line include Huaneng Yangluo Power Plant, Huaneng Changxing Power Plant, Huhhot Power Plant, Huadian Weifang Power Plant, Datang Longgang Power Plant, Datang Huayu Power Plant, Huaneng Shidongkou the First Power Plant, Huaneng Daba Power Plant and so on.

As of June 2010, the capacity of projects that contracted by our company has broken through 3 million tons, which made its contribution to the treament and utilization of industrial by-product gypsum in China.

Chemical Gypsum Treatment Process-Preview

Based on a successive sucessful cases and sound knowledge of our technicians in gypsum field and by integrating the advantages of chemical industries, power industries and building material industries, .etc in China, we can provide various processes and equipments upon customers' requirements.

By relying on the professional knowledge and skill of our technologists and the operability of our equipments, we can also provide our customers different technological formulas to satisfy different products' specifications like paper-faced gypsum boards, gypsum blocks, dry-fixed gypsum plaster, glue plaster, filleting gypsum and so on.

Besides, to save customers' expenses for investigation, construction and trial run, our lab staff can offer services like material pre-analysis, underbrush and product testing and so on.

Chemical Gypsum Treatment Process-Process Selection

On t he basis of different capacities and customers, we prepare two kinds of production processes for our customers.

The first is named as one-step production process based on fluidized-bed calciner. This process makes use of our mature fluidized-bed calciner as the calcining facility and apply the principle of a strong water absorption of semi-hydrated gypsum to absorb phosphogysum's free water by returning conveyor, which make clammy material harder to agglomerate. This process has the advantages of simple equipment, small floor area and money-saving investment, but it has not been applied yet to production line with capacity of 100, 000 tons.

The second is called drying and calcining two-step process, which adopts fluidized-bed as the calcining facility. The drying equipment is selected upon heat resource. This process has the advantages of stable running and a reliable quality, but it will need more investment in small scaled production line and its cost performance is also very low.  

Both of the above production processes have a wide range of heat resource, like coal, natural gas, diesel oil, heavy oil and so on. Steam is also a feasible choice for power plant customers.
