Tea seed pellet(also known as tea seed cake)is a dark brown grainy residue of the camellia seed after pressing process, 18% of which is comprised of tea saponin(a sort of a hemolytic toxin) that can decimate wild fishes, loaches, spiral shells, clams, frogspawns, tadpoles and certain kinds of aquatic insects by dissolving their erythrocytes. Hence, it can serve as a more useful pool-cleaner than other drugs.
