Basic process of oil refining
1, Degumming. Taking hydration degumming method, that is, using the hydrophilicity of peptized impurities such as phospholipids, a certain amount of water or electrolyte dilute solution is added to the oil under stirring, so that the peptized impurities in the hair oil swell, condense and separate.
2, Deacidification. It is the removal of free fatty acids in the hair oil. This is a critical stage in the entire refining process.The widely used method is alkali refining, that is, using alkali to neutralize free fatty acids, so that free fatty acid production soap is separated from oil.
3, Bleaching. The pigmentation, trace soap, phospholipids, polycyclic hydrocarbons, and residual pesticides in the hair oil are removed by adsorption decolorization.
4, Deodorization. Deodorization can not only remove odor substances in the oil, improve the smoke point in the oil, improve the flavor of the oil, but also effectively remove the pollution.
5, Dewax. One common point of the de-waxing methods is that the temperature is below 25 °C in order to obtain a good dewaxing effect.
