Sunflower oil is the non-volatile oil compressed from sunflower seeds. Sunflower oil is commonly used in food as frying oil, and in cosmetic formulations as an emollient. The world's largest sunflower oil producers now are Russia, Ukraine .
Sunflower oil is a monounsaturated /polyunsaturated mixture of mostly Oleic acid linoleic acid group of oils. The oil content of the seed ranges from 22 to 36% (average, 28%): the kernel contains 45–55% oil. The expressed oil is of light amber color with a mild and pleasant flavor; refined oil is pale yellow. Refining losses are low and the oil has good keeping qualities with light tendency for flavor reversion. In recent years, there has been an increase in demand for sunflower crops such as sunflower oil. Measures such as the development of hybrid sunflowers to increase oil production have been introduced to meet this demand.

The prepreatment section includes sunflower seeds-cleaning-shelling-separate shell and kernel-flaking-cooking-prepress-crude oil .
The extraction section includes solvent recycle, sunflower seeds cake, extractor, mixed oil treatment, solvent recycle, wet meal desolventizing and toasting system, refined oil.
The refining section includes sunflower seeds crude oil ,phosphoric acid degum, washed dry, dewax, decolorizing, physical deacidification deodorization, dewaxing, refined oil.

In line with the subscribed Protocol on the Establishment of Chinese Center for the Promotion of Investment, Development and Trade in Tanzania between Chinese government and Tanzania government, Chinese Center for the Promotion of Investment, Development and Trade in Tanzania had registered in the Tanzania Ministry of Industry and Trade in 1998 as a consultation service enterprise for introducing foreign capitals into Tanzania.
