used in your quilt. Many quilters prefer no to pre-wash batting to achieve the unique effect created by the slight shrinkage when the completed quilt is washed.
4. Please follow these directions if you wish to pre-wash your organic thermal bonded cotton batting quilting fabric:
1).Hand –wash in a basin or tub with a mild detergent, Do not agitate or spin in your washing machine.
2).Soak for 20 minutes, then rinse several times
3).Squeeze water out, roll in towel to remove excess water
4).Allow to dry flat
5).Dry in shade
6).Do not iron
7).Once quilted, the quilt batting can be cold machine washed on a gentle cycle
