Product Description

The main components nitrate and ammonium are present in an ideal ratio and make CAN an affordable fertilizer for healthy plant

growth in agriculture and horticulture, it supplies nitrogen to plants in a balanced and secure manner. At the same time, the

combination of ammonium nitrogen and nitrate nitrogen makes CAN a special product with neutral chemistry (pH) which can be

applied universally and is suitable for all crops, all seasons, soils and locations. It is suitable for multiple methods of application;

by drill, broadcast or through fertigation.

1. The advantages calcium ammonium nitrate+boron

It is universal – can be applied in the case of all types of crops, regardless of the application period (before sowing, for top dressing).

It contains calcium and magnesium which improve the efficiency of absorbing nitrogen by the plants’ roots and reduce nitrogen

losses, thus making fertilization more profitable; it also protects subsoil waters against pollution by nitrogen compounds. .It can

lengthen the florescence, promote the root, stem & leaf to grow normally .Ensuring the color of the fruit is bright and the fruit candy

can be increased. Can be considered as near-neutral in its effect on soil pH and therefore can be used on soils that have a low pH

without lowering further. For use on perennial fruit crops (where soil incorporation of lime is difficult) is a nitrogen fertilizer which

contains equal parts of fast acting nitrate-nitrogen and longer lasting ammonium-nitrogen. Volatilization of nitrogen from CAN is

negligible, therefore the timing of the applications is flexible.

product application

 1. Application price for calcium ammonium nitrate+boron

Fertilizer

The composition of readily available nitrate nitrogen and reserved N (nitrate available after its conversion from ammonium nitrogen) is optimal for providing all crops with targeted nutrition. The nitrate nitrogen that is available immediately after the application and absorbed in water is taken up directly by the plant and nutrient losses are almost eliminated.

CAN is a hygroscopic product and needs very low moisture to be absorbed by the plants. It is equally effective in water stressed areas where soil has low moisture.

Calcium and Sulfur available in CAN is also helpful in soil reclamation.

2. Application Recommendations calcium ammonium nitrate+boron

CAN can be applied in base dressings and side dressings, but the actual rates will depend on the farm type, the region and

the season. It is most beneficial however when split applied (where possible) on a 4 - 6 weekly basis to ensure a continuous

nitrogen supply. Actual spreading rates will vary according to farm type, climate, productivity, soil type and crop type. Soil testing

and fertilizer plans are available to ensure you use the right product at the correct rate.

3. Cautions for Mixing calcium ammonium nitrate+boron

Although CAN generally mixes well with other products, it is not compatible with the following:

  1. Superphosphate and Magnesium Oxide.
  2. CAN can be compatible with the following under certain circumstances.
  3. Dry Lime (may also give off ammonia gas) and Sulphur Super 30.
  4. Segregation may occur when mixed with product with di.
