The Drill Pipe Pup Joint is an important drill stem component for special drilling or testing operations. Pup Joints are used to adjust the height of full length tubing or casing strings. This short drill pipe section is used to locate the top box of the drillstring
at a specified distance from the rig floor and to adjust the depth of downhole tools.
Our pup joints are manufactured using round bar from AISI-4145 H Material. Our Pup Joints are available with right or left hand threads. All of our Pup Joints are serialized and you receive documents recording every detail of raw material, testing, manufacturing processes and quality control measures.
The pup joint are used to adjust the height of full length tubing or casing strings, they are also used to asjust the depth of downhole tools. Pup joints are manufactured from seamless mechanical tube. As with all Crossover products, each piece is marked with a distinctive heat number that is fully traceable.
